Tourist activities to discover around Village Vacances Hauteville-sur-Mer

Whether it's your first time in Normandy or you're returning for another trip, there is no shortage of tourist activities to experience as a family, on your holiday at the Hauteville-sur-Mer theme village! Along the Channel, through the 7 harbours (ports and harbours) of the Pays de Coutances, which has art and history label certification, the surrounding area is teeming with wonders just waiting to be discovered. Starting with Agon-Coutainville, just a few minutes away by car – it’s one of the prettiest seaside resorts on the Normandy coast. Further afield, you can go on an excursion to the Clos du Cotentin, which also has art and history label certification. On your way to Mont Saint-Michel, make a stop at Villedieu-les-Poêles, which has City and the Applied Arts certification. It’s a must-see if you like local crafts. Why not set sail from the Hauteville-sur-Mer theme village? Set off from Granville or Carteret for Jersey, the island of flowers, or Guernsey, which Victor Hugo described as "a rock of hospitality and liberty, (...) a part of the old land of Normandy where there lives a small group of fine seafaring folk". Normandy also takes you on an incredible journey back in time. The heritage sites of Saint-Malo, the Caen memorial, the Bayeux tapestry and Omaha Beach are testament to great moments in history and will immerse you in the history of mankind.
